Online Consultation

The Same Protocol, Delivered Remotely

Nutrition therapy is unusually well suited to telemedicine. Everything we need (history, labs, dietary pattern, measurements, follow-up weights) travels easily over a video call. Patients of ours in Srinagar, Delhi, Bengaluru and the Gulf follow the same protocols, with the same follow-up cadence, as those sitting in the Trikuta Nagar clinic.

Who Online Consultation Fits

  • You live outside Jammu or outside India and want a clinical dietitian rather than an app.
  • Your work schedule makes clinic visits costly in time.
  • You need frequent short follow-ups, which WhatsApp handles better than travel does.

The Exact Process

  1. Intake (Day 0): You book on WhatsApp and receive a short medical and dietary questionnaire. You share photos of recent reports if available (CBC, ferritin, B12, vitamin D, TSH, HbA1c, lipids), plus a simple 3-day food record including one weekend day, written exactly as you ate. No cleaning up required.
  2. Video consultation (45 to 60 minutes): Full history, medication review, guided waist and weight measurement so your numbers are reliable, and goal setting.
  3. Written protocol (within 24 hours): A PDF with your calorie and protein targets, a meal framework built from your own kitchen, a grocery list, medication-food spacing, and an eating-out guide.
  4. Follow-ups: WhatsApp access for questions and weekly weight entries, plus a review call every 2 to 4 weeks where we adjust the plan against your data.

What You Need at Your End

A bathroom scale, a measuring tape, your reports, and a quiet corner. Nothing else. We do not require special foods, kitchen gadgets or supplements to begin.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is an online consult as effective as a clinic visit? For diet therapy, yes. The drivers of outcome are protocol quality and follow-up consistency, both of which are identical online. The only thing we lose is a physical examination, which is why we ask you to share your doctor’s findings upfront.
  • Do you adjust my medicines? No. Dietitians do not prescribe or change medication. We design the diet to work with your prescriptions and share progress data with your physician so they can adjust doses when appropriate.
  • I live in a different time zone. Can this work? Yes. We reserve evening and weekend IST slots for NRI patients, and the WhatsApp follow-up system is asynchronous by design.
